The unforgettable night

The grass darkens

As we lay under the starry universe.

On a hill of yellow daisies.

While we watched the dancing fireflies

Lighten the night.

Listening to the singing owls

Hunting for their prey

And the coyotes howl at the moon.

As the wind slithered across our skin,

our eyes began to gaze upon another.

You were telling me how the stars shined in the pupils of my hazel eyes.

Which inspired me to feel as if I was the universe.

I was your universe.

You gently grab my hand

To measure the size against yours.

I slowly put your left hand across my cheek.

While holding my hand,

You happily lift up from the ground

Asking me to dance with you.

We danced for hours.

You stopped to hug me tightly.

Reviling That I was the key

To your heart.

You inspired me

To become confident

In my body, my skin, my personality.

Being around you,

Is like a dream I’ve always dreamed.

Laughing with you, is a smile I will always remember.

The warm feeling I have for you

Is the warm feeling of love

My heart will always crave from you.

This night is temporary,

But this memory will be forever.
