The Regret of Violence

Generation to Generation

Youth-gang violence

Roams the monstrous streets

For many young lives.

Who are trapped,

Who are beaten,

and who are enslaved

By their demons.

Not only by their demons,

Who are torturing these young, prisoned souls,

But also their influencers,

Their families,

And the people they choose to entertain.

Choosing a weapon

To predict an innocent humans life.

Choosing to play “god”

Just to feed their starving demons.

Leaving that innocent human

Dull, Lost, Confused, Gone.

Leaving their families and friends

Broken, stunned, and betrayed.

Leaving society

Angry.

Leaving that one soul,

who was enslaved by their demons,

Depressed, Stressed, and Heartless.

leaving that one soul,

Who was once tortured, beaten, and trapped

by their inner demons,

Wishing it never happened.
